Do not rest disobedient!

Today, Desmond’s visitor(Kelvin) asked me:

Have you wondered why good people still go to hell? Are they even deserving of it?

Hahah yes I most definitely answered him already. But I am sure many people out there are asking the same questions as well. Why not? Humans are full of doubt. But doubt is good, it brings us closer to God. My answer was immediate, don’t ask me why I don’t know why I thought of it either but thinking back, it all made perfect sense.

Humans are of a sinful nature, no matter how good a person is, people would have all sinned before consciously unconsciously or subconsciously. In the bible it is said that Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:5-7 NO ONE comes to the Father except through JESUS! In the same way, a good person who does not know Jesus will not be able to go to God since he does not know the Son! You see, Christians aren’t perfect people. We sin too, perhaps even more than what the good people who do not know Jesus do. But we have a redeemer who forgives us of our wrong doings and sins as long as we repent, we have a saviour who has died for US we were redeemed through the SON!

It is indeed regretful and heart-breaking that many good people still go to hell because they do not know Jesus. But make this clear, God didn’t send people to hell. It was the un-forgiven sins of the people which sent them to hell, Jesus’ heart breaks when he sees people suffering in hell what more will He do to save us while we are still on this earth!

On a side note, do you know who else goes to hell? It is said that only pure, obedient Christians who lived by faith were able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The way to Heaven is indeed narrow, I just can’t imagine how big and wide the path to Hell is. That’s right, disobedient Christians will spend eternity wandering, outside the gates of the Kingdom. They are of many, but they are still empty and lonely. Obedient Christians will get to enjoy the riches of His kingdom, His special children will get to live in mansions and I guess others will live in normal houses? haha :) We’re but living in the end times, the Kingdom has been completed and Jesus is just waiting for the right time to usher us in. Blessed are those who hold on! It is nearer than most of us think it is, but most certainly God is coming back. I’m excited, are you?

I saw this on one of my friend’s FB:

Have you ever asked yourself why did God choose you out of the 999,999 others? Why you came into this world while others die at birth? Why your still alive when people around you are dying? Why people your age are suffering but you are living in moderate or on the high rollers list? Why she is prettier or he is much mo…re handsome than you? Do you have the answers for it?

Here’s the standard answer:

God has a plan for you, He is waiting for you to participate in this wonderful plan. He has set you aside to use you greatly for His Kingdom, wherever God places you it is to build you never to pull you down, it is always to see you excel for His Kingdom to your highest potential. You are wonderfully and fearfully made, you are made in the image of God Himself, look! You are the most prettiest/handsome to Him! ( Cause you are His creation, and no! God didn’t make a mistake, nobody is a mistake! )What more can you ask for!

Ah well, finished. Tomorrow, it’s chiong-ing time for my studies. God I trust your timing and I pray that you grant me the wisdom and knowledge to finish what I am about to do. I am scared but I have faith that this can be overcome-d with you, I just ask for your blessings to be over me and I thank you, in Jesus’ mighty name I pray, AMEN.

Compromising.

I’ve been thinking about the topic compromising.
Humans tend to compromise a lot.
Sure, it brings humanity out in a nation but it allows loopholes.
This is very evident in the law.
Even criminals have a way of getting out easy.
Sure then complaints come flying that this person should be locked in etc.

And it brings me back to why discernment is so important in our lives.

Also that humans are judgmental creatures
whose’s definition of black and white has a grey in between.
And sadly to say it’s because of human’s way of compromising things
that they compromise values in life.
The ones that they should never compromise,
because it is not right in the eyes of God.
People have often thought and said that the bible’s outdated and irrelevant in some parts,
but hey have you ever gone to reflect why?

I have thought about it, I have come to a conclusion it’s because humans are unwilling.

They are unwilling to do things that require more than what they expect to give,
they compromise and when it comes to a point where they can’t compromise,
they complain.
They complain that something is irrelevant,
it’s outdated
they want change.
One example will be the bible.
The truth is the bible is like a book that has values, teachings that goes beyond generations.
So no, it can never be outdated.

Another thing about the law.

Although the bible did not say that we are not to jaywalk and all that,
it does not necessarily mean if we do it it’s ok.
One question: Do you think it is right in the eyes of the Lord?
Heck the eyes of the law, think what’s eternal.
Like sin, once we compromise,
we start compromising everything.

Don’t use your non-believer friends as an excuse either.

If it’s to fit into them, compromise with them, because it’s not part of their value etc
and your reason is so that you can bring them to come church,
think of the consequences first.
Don’t land yourself in future situations that you can’t get out of.
Or maybe if they think I am too rigid they won’t want to come church.
And seriously, that’s a lame excuse.
Are you telling me that you are compromising godly standards
so that you can be on par with the world?
What good is a covered light?

The godly attracts the ungodly!

It is there where you can bring salvation into their lives!
How are you different from the world if your values are that of the world!
People come to church mainly because they see the change and not the cool-ness in it.

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Away from me Satan! I will not let my joy be rid of. You shall not steal my joy of the Lord away from me, neither will you kill nor destroy it. Away from me! I will stand firm in the name of the Lord, my life secured in His hands. Amen.

Love me for what I am about to do

Cut my hair yesterday, I’m going to leave it long (:

Don’t frown on me because of what I have done, but instead love me for what I am about to do.

Yesterday night, I spent hours on my bed flipping over my sides and all over.
I was thinking about why I couldn’t talk deep.
Which is ironic because,
I can think deep but not talk deep is also equivalent to me wasting my time thinking deep.
As I reflect upon that quote up there I realised that must be why I am afraid to share deep.
In the past, I was more than undesirable.
Whether as a friend, a classmate, a child etc.
I was not only prideful, I was insecure.
I am many things that one can think the worst of.
Well, I guess I broke every commandment in the bible expect for killing my parents.
Which I hadn’t reached that stage yet,
thank goodness.
An anti-christ once told me, Christianity was only for sinners.
That’s completely true.
Because Jesus once said in Matthew 9
10While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and “sinners” came and ate with him and his disciples. 11When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?”
12On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

And I asked him, so have you not lied? Have you not sinned?

Then he said: Yes I’m a sinner.
So I asked him: So you do need Christianity.
And he denied of course.

It’s okay to frown upon my past, because yes.

It’s really unsightly to humans that is.
But love me for what I am about to do,
because God is going to use me.

Christians, this is a warning.

Every actions you do,
those antichrist, are going to use it as a false testimony against God.
They are out to exploit every bad things you have done.
From the people in your life, to those passerby looking at your life.
Hold fast and do what’s right because,
we are people living in the end times.
The world doesn’t need us,
they need God.
1 John 2:18
Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

And before people deny that they are antichrist here’s the few verses.

  • 1 John 2:22
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.
  • 1 John 4:3
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
  • 2 John 1:7
Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.
