What is the retaining factor in your life?

Hi so tired today (: Have to wear formal x.x
On the train home while I was playing out imaginative scenarios in my mind,
I  suddenly thought of this hahahaha.

People should be the attracting factor, not the retaining factor.

Churches: The attracting factor is always mainly people, but the retaining factor must always be God!

People can’t see God, they see us because without knowing it, they are actually seeing our God we so proclaim to be true through our lives. So are you glorifying God today? Because the world’s perception of God is through Christians, if our lives are not glorifying God and that God is not real in our lives, who are we to say that God is real in our lives? That’s hypocrisy!

And this comes to the point that because of not having a relationship with God, lost sheep have to see people to see Christ, but when they know Christ they really have to KNOW Christ! That is the retaining factor, God! They have to stop seeing the canvas you paint through Christ and pick that brush up and paint it on their canvas with Christ.

Humans can never be the retaining factor, because we are imperfect. And because of that we sometimes do things that are not glorifying to God and to others. We tend to hurt people accidentally, we flare up, we don’t strive for excellence in the things we do, we get jealous and insecure. That’s all not glorifying God. If the retaining factor is people, that sheep will not only not grow much (It is only in Christ that we experience growth), he/she will not be living his/her life for God’s purposes (because he/she loves the praises of men more than God’s, he/she saw people, not God! God is not that real in his/her life!), he/she will not only leave in the end, he/she will leave with a hurt in her/his heart that God is not a good God. And that’s not true and we know it.

And although as much as I hate to admit it sometimes, God is definitely the creator of our lives. Jesus is definitely God’s son. The holy spirit definitely exists in our lives. God definitely loves people, God definitely loves me. Jesus definitely died for our sins, Jesus definitely loves me more than I love Him. The holy spirit definitely can move in our lives, the holy spirit definitely wants to move in us more than we want it to move in us. And that people will definitely be the retaining factor in our lives if our eyes are not focused on God.

Sure, I know all these even before this sentence was revealed to me.

But it gave me a fresh new perspective and judging by how it was phrased.
It definetly wasn’t from me, in fact I was so amazed with it hahahaha.
Ok tomorrow’s Saturday :)
God I need your anoiting!
I still have 2 math papers, the invite card (oops, but it’s half done haha),
WFL tomorrow and haha sleep ):

I’ve been thinking about love.
Can we really claim to love G after we know the true definition of love?

1 Corinthians 13:4-10

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

I know we’re by humans standards but is that still love?
Is that still love if we lack in one area?
Will that make me a hypocrite?
If ours is imperfect love then why is that still called love?
So many damn questions ):<
I need to address everything!!!!!!! T_T
Tomorrow’s Financial Accounting, a bit sian.

What is really?

Here’s the thing,

  • if you reject the church = you reject God’s bride = you reject God.
  • if you reject His people = you reject His children = you reject God.
  • if you reject Jesus = you reject His son = you reject God.
  • if you reject the bible = you reject His word = you reject God.
  • if you reject His promises = you reject His promises and blessings = you reject God.
  • if you reject the teachings = you reject His words = you reject God.
  • if you reject His prophets = you reject His warnings and blessings = you reject God.
  • if you reject the resurrection = you reject His salvation = you reject God.

if you lived your life not according to His ways and words, here’s the truth: You have rejected God.

1 John 4:3
2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
Definition of the Antichrist.
  1. You want a Godly life.
  2. You want a blessed life.
  3. You want a life full of miracles.
  4. You want to be loved by God.
  5. You want to have a closer relationship with Him.
  6. You want to do things for His kingdom.
  7. You want to be a powerful vessel.
  8. You want to grow spiritually.
  9. You want to mature spiritually.
  10. You want to be salt and light.
  11. You want to experience God in a real dimension.
  12. You want to know / affirm that God is real.
Yet you don’t have a consistent and purposeful prayer life.
Then I tell you, none of it is achievable.
If all passageways are closed, how will He speak into your life – powerfully?
When you pray, pray to know Christ.
You know why so many atheists / disbeliever / backsliders gave up on God?
Because God wasn’t there for them, He wasn’t real?
Those are rubbish.
One of Satan’s most exploited methods of causing us to sin.
Tell you what, it’s because they all tried too hard.
Ever heard anyone said: I really tried, I really tried really hard!
God loves those who do not rest disobedient, not those who work hard!
When you pray, expect.

Working hard is important, yes.

But faith is not the sort of thing that can be acquired by trying harder.
Never try to have more faith – just get to know God better.
And because God is faithful, the better you know him, the more you’ll trust him.
Another test atheists / disbeliever / backsliders fail?
The test of time and patience.
They give up so easily.
What’s years compared to eternity?
Never give up on God, because He never gave up on you.

Hahha I think he’s cute. LOL. That’s him in Haiti.

Check out his art pieces http://www.threadless.com/profile/911946/the_Sleeping_Sky
LOL, his art is amazing (:
Judging from his art, he does mostly computer + painting + charcoal + pen drawings.
Lols and yes, his art was the one who gave me a fetish to start picking up my materials again.
He’s 17.07 years old (= HAHAHA. Which also probably means he’s a February baby (:
I know, this is totally random.

Today, Desmond’s visitor(Kelvin) asked me:

Have you wondered why good people still go to hell? Are they even deserving of it?

Hahah yes I most definitely answered him already. But I am sure many people out there are asking the same questions as well. Why not? Humans are full of doubt. But doubt is good, it brings us closer to God. My answer was immediate, don’t ask me why I don’t know why I thought of it either but thinking back, it all made perfect sense.

Humans are of a sinful nature, no matter how good a person is, people would have all sinned before consciously unconsciously or subconsciously. In the bible it is said that Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:5-7 NO ONE comes to the Father except through JESUS! In the same way, a good person who does not know Jesus will not be able to go to God since he does not know the Son! You see, Christians aren’t perfect people. We sin too, perhaps even more than what the good people who do not know Jesus do. But we have a redeemer who forgives us of our wrong doings and sins as long as we repent, we have a saviour who has died for US we were redeemed through the SON!

It is indeed regretful and heart-breaking that many good people still go to hell because they do not know Jesus. But make this clear, God didn’t send people to hell. It was the un-forgiven sins of the people which sent them to hell, Jesus’ heart breaks when he sees people suffering in hell what more will He do to save us while we are still on this earth!

On a side note, do you know who else goes to hell? It is said that only pure, obedient Christians who lived by faith were able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The way to Heaven is indeed narrow, I just can’t imagine how big and wide the path to Hell is. That’s right, disobedient Christians will spend eternity wandering, outside the gates of the Kingdom. They are of many, but they are still empty and lonely. Obedient Christians will get to enjoy the riches of His kingdom, His special children will get to live in mansions and I guess others will live in normal houses? haha :) We’re but living in the end times, the Kingdom has been completed and Jesus is just waiting for the right time to usher us in. Blessed are those who hold on! It is nearer than most of us think it is, but most certainly God is coming back. I’m excited, are you?

I saw this on one of my friend’s FB:

Have you ever asked yourself why did God choose you out of the 999,999 others? Why you came into this world while others die at birth? Why your still alive when people around you are dying? Why people your age are suffering but you are living in moderate or on the high rollers list? Why she is prettier or he is much mo…re handsome than you? Do you have the answers for it?

Here’s the standard answer:

God has a plan for you, He is waiting for you to participate in this wonderful plan. He has set you aside to use you greatly for His Kingdom, wherever God places you it is to build you never to pull you down, it is always to see you excel for His Kingdom to your highest potential. You are wonderfully and fearfully made, you are made in the image of God Himself, look! You are the most prettiest/handsome to Him! ( Cause you are His creation, and no! God didn’t make a mistake, nobody is a mistake! )What more can you ask for!

Ah well, finished. Tomorrow, it’s chiong-ing time for my studies. God I trust your timing and I pray that you grant me the wisdom and knowledge to finish what I am about to do. I am scared but I have faith that this can be overcome-d with you, I just ask for your blessings to be over me and I thank you, in Jesus’ mighty name I pray, AMEN.

From: Kwan =D who cut his hair today!

Hi, Mommy. I’m your baby. You don’t know me yet, I’m only a few weeks old. You’re going to find out about me soon, though, I promise. Let me tell you some things about me. My name is John, and I’ve got beautiful brown eyes and black hair. Well, I don’t have it yet, but I will when I’m born. I’m going to be your only child, and you’ll call me your one and only. I’m going to grow up without a daddy mostly, but we have each other. We’ll help each other, and love each other. I want to be a doctor when I grow up.

You found out about me today, Mommy! You were so excited, you couldn’t wait to tell everyone. All you could do all day was smile, and life was perfect. You have a beautiful smile, Mommy. It will be the first face I will see in my life, and it will be the best thing I see in my life. I know it already.

Today was the day you told Daddy. You were so excited to tell him about me! …He wasn’t happy, Mommy. He kind of got angry. I don’t think that you noticed, but he did. He started to talk about something called wedlock, and money, and bills, and stuff I don’t think I understand yet. You were still happy, though, so it was okay. Then he did something scary, Mommy. He hit you. I could feel you fall backward, and your hands flying up to protect me. I was okay… but I was very sad for you. You were crying then, Mommy. That’s a sound I don’t like. It doesn’t make me feel good. It made me cry, too. He said sorry after, and he hugged you again. You forgave him, Mommy, but I’m not sure if I do. It wasn’t right. You say he loves you… why would he hurt you? I don’t like it, Mommy.

Finally, you can see me! Your stomach is a little bit bigger, and you’re so proud of me! You went out with your mommy to buy new clothes, and you were so so so happy. You sing to me, too. You have the most beautiful voice in the whole wide world. When you sing is when I’m happiest. And you talk to me, and I feel safe. So safe. You just wait and see, Mommy. When I am born I will be perfect just for you. I will make you proud, and I will love you with all of my heart.

I can move my hands and feet now, Mommy. I do it because you put your hands on your belly to feel me, and I giggle. You giggle, too. I love you, Mommy.

Daddy came to see you today, Mommy. I got really scared. He was acting funny and he wasn’t talking right. He said he didn’t want you. I don’t know why, but that’s what he said. And he hit you again. I got angry, Mommy. When I grow up I promise I won’t let you get hurt! I promise to protect you. Daddy is bad. I don’t care if you think that he is a good person, I think he’s bad. But he hit you, and he said he didn’t want us. He doesn’t like me. Why doesn’t he like me, Mommy?

You didn’t talk to me tonight, Mommy. Is everything okay?

It’s been three days since you saw Daddy. You haven’t talked to me or touched me or anything since that. Don’t you still love me, Mommy? I still love you. I think you feel sad. The only time I feel you is when you sleep. You sleep funny, kind of curled up on your side. And you hug me with your arms, and I feel safe and warm again. Why don’t you do that when you’re awake, any more?

I’m 21 weeks old today, Mommy. Aren’t you proud of me? We’re going somewhere today, and it’s somewhere new. I’m excited. It looks like a hospital, too. I want to be a doctor when I grow up, Mommy. Did I tell you that? I hope you’re as excited as I am. I can’t wait.

…Mommy, I’m getting scared. Your heart is still beating, but I don’t know what you are thinking. The doctor is talking to you. I think something’s going to happen soon. I’m really, really, really scared, Mommy. Please tell me you love me. Then I will feel safe again. I love you!

Mommy, what are they doing to me!? It hurts! Please make them stop! It feels bad! Please, Mommy, please please help me! Make them stop!

Don’t worry Mommy, I’m safe. I’m in heaven with the angels now. They told me what you did, and they said it’s called an abortion.

Why, Mommy? Why did you do it? Don’t you love me any more? Why did you get rid of me? I’m really, really, really sorry if I did something wrong, Mommy. I love you, Mommy! I love you with all of my heart. Why don’t you love me? What did I do to deserve what they did to me? I want to live, Mommy! Please! It really, really hurts to see you not care about me, and not talk to me. Didn’t I love you enough? Please say you’ll keep me, Mommy! I want to live smile and watch the clouds and see your face and grow up and be a doctor. I don’t want to be here, I want you to love me again! I’m really really really sorry if I did something wrong. I love you!

I love you, Mommy.

Every abortion is just…

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.

Best solution? Never give birth-.-

LOL cause I don’t like the pain :/

Letter 2: Lover.

Lover, hmm. God? :/ Ahh well.

To my lover: Dear God,
here’s your child speaking. The sad thing is that I won’t get to die, well I have to wait for another time. Well, let’s get on with this letter (: You know, I don’t exactly know your name or how you look like. But hey, although that gives me the reason to doubt I guess I can’t after all the miracles you’ve gave in my life. Hey dad, thanks for looking after me these many years even though I haven’t been exactly obedient. I have been defiant, unyielding and stubbornly refused you many a times. But you still loved me. Thank you God for being my best friend. I know I have broken your heart many a times and have left you countless times for desires and sins. You have patiently guided me to the way of life but I have also constantly strayed from it, I have shouted at you. Hurled insults and in the past, vulguar at you. Everything seemed to be your fault when things are down. I never seemed to appreciate you enough and the sinful things I do, breaks your heart. But you still loved me.
Thank you God for being my protector, I have often gotten myself into undesirable situations but you have always ben there, holding your protection around what might harm me. You have also protected me from my thoughts, wild and tame. I have not only not been appreciative of it, I have complained against it. But you still loved me. Thank you for being a teacher, someone who pastors and stretches me. Someone who knows how far my limit is and stretches me accordingly. Someone who loves me for who I am, even when I’m not exactly the best student around. Thank you God, for being God. Thank you for who you are and the spiritual giftings and the calling you have gave me. Thank you for always believing in me and using me to do the impossible. Although I do complain about all these, you still loved me. Thank you God,

Seeing God in His robes of light.

– God shows Himself in different ways with different people.

– God showed himself in the person of Jesus Christ long ago.

And Jesus, who was God in flesh (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9), walked among people, many denied who he was (people couldn’t recognize God!)

– He shows Himself to non-believers / Christians through Christians

Take for example, we might have a problem with a particular sin and we’ve been praying about it, asking God to give us strength to overcome.  We might encounter people who talk to us about the issue very specifically even when they did not know we are encountering that particular problem.

Is this from God? Why wouldn’t it be? Why wouldn’t God use such things as a way to reveal his work in the world? Afterall God’s ways are higher than ours.

– God reveals himself to us through the conviction of our heart

Sometimes we sin, and the Lord will very clearly convict us. We experience a certain and profound sense of anguish and guilt about our sin. Only after confession and repentance to God is the sensation of conviction relieved.

This is the work of God inside a person, because as a parent, God loves His children. No He didn’t purposely wanted to make His children feel guilty but instead, He wants to bring change to them, to mould them to be a better person than they are now.

Believe me, the process is sometimes hard and seems unyielding but after you look back, you be amazed by how He changed you.

– God reveals Himself through testimonies

Probably the most common and well-known. It can be as simple as how God blessed you to as profound as how God works through our lives with miracles.

*SIN is anything that falls short of the perfect standard of God.

The sad minority.

What’s there to say?

Well, I’m in a doubtful mood.
And I am questioning the bible.
What’s there to question anywhere?
LOL, there is.
Just that you people never think deep enough.
Which is a good thing anyway.
I’m prodding into it’s “weak” spots.
And I hope it don’t break.
The *POP* sound. Ouch, let’s hope it doesn’t happen.
I’m approaching a question asked by many anti-christs, atheists etc.
In the past, in this present day and in the days to come.
What if there are some people who have NEVER heard of Jesus and the gospel before? They will go to Hell, yes but isn’t that unfair for them?
-Only countries like China rejected it ( in the past ), so if they rejected it as a majority then shouldn’t really be God’s fault isn’t it?
Although it does seem unfair that it’s not an individual opinion, why don’t you just go ask the authorities in power there then?

Fairness is an attribute just like any other and so..
because humans are created with the essence of free will we were born into this world,
Him knowing what we will choose.
That doesnt change anything, you see,
He cant “force” us to hear the gospel,
there are people who has never heard it before but why are they created?

When we were made the very first few of our kind,

Adam  and Eve made the decision to give birth to us.
God didnt MAKE them do it!
So we were born, out of free will
and we hear the gospel or not out of the third party influence of whether another person is going to share Christ to us or not is also,
out of free will of that person.
It is sort of “unfair” to them since they were created
and God even knew they would go to hell before they were even born
but you see life in itself is a gift we were born to this world,
and his essence of love is shown to us through motherly love
through how our parents clothed us and taught us.

A book called dantes’ infernal,

these people I’m talking about:
those who never got to hear the message of the gospel
they suffer in a special section of hell well but thats not true.
I disagree with it.
In “Heaven is so real”,
Choo Thomas a prophetess talks about how Hell will look like.
Just imagine a huge basin,
as if an atomic bomb had landed there.
There those non-believers will be,
wandering for eternity.
Not too bad since you have friends at there as well?
No, in there,
the only hope is to hope to get out of that hell hole.
There will be no laughter, only sorrow.
People wandering around in fatigue.

Random random random.

So there is no free will?
Wake up, go back and see,
there is free will.
Just within your grip.

Kinder surprise, you’ve got me thinking again.
Hais, no matter how much I try to escape from the fact, I can’t.
I am going back to researching again.

And I totally agree with what you said.

Although those did pass my mind for moments but I never really went into it, I wanted out.
Thanks for helping me out with what’s precious in my life anyway.
I guess it’s perhaps achievements?
Hais, I’m seriously a nAch person =.=
What’s more laughable is that I was termed something that I didn’t know what it was at first.
A Christian apologist, a minor one.
It’s something I’m not that proud of either.
I’ve considered long and hard whether I should private this, put a password for it or public it.
Because it will be quite stumbling for others, really.

But here it is, I’ve decided to public it.

Some people say that they want the crown of life and that is the most precious thing for them.
Actually, this one is really super obvious le.
Even the bible has said before if what we are seeking after is not God,
even our crown of lives will be taken from us.
When you focus on the crown and just do it because of rewards, you give up your seat for a reward unseen, you give up your life to save someone for a reward unseen.
  • Have you ever asked God to do things like if I do this, God you give me something in return?
It’s not the same as doing it for God, It’s doing it for self-fulfilment.
And you realize there a whole bunch of people who don’t see that.
An individual makes a huge difference.
And because certain Christian organizations are making a big fool of themselves,
people start to think they have rights to comment on the whole mass and core teachings.
One day this gets the whole congregation killed
And Christians will be the reason why they are hated and persecuted.
Yes, themselves.

Sad, but true.

God was never really the centre of anyone’s life.
In fact, nobody is anywhere near there.
If he was at the centre someone would have made a huge difference somewhere at least.
You can safely say there’s no absolute, people fail.
Humans are imperfect they sin.
They fall short of the perfect standard of God.
Yes even Father Abraham sinned.
He is not perfect and that means he has already not reached the perfect mark.
That’s human nature.
One fail = one degree away = not in the centre
What are the odds?

Sounds very much like an anti-Christ talking uh?

But if you really think about it, it’s true.
But what’s not true about not being able to go heaven is that:
– Jesus has died for us, so our sins, will ultimately be forgiven.
We may not be perfect, but we have already had a perfect sacrifice who died for us.

But this doesn’t mean not doing God’s work.

Because God will ask you this one question when you get up there:
What have you done and why have you done what you done?

I’m walking the same path as you. But, I choose to walk on the sidewalk instead of the pavement.
